Economic ties between Belgium, Luxembourg, and Thailand go back centuries. In the early 1990s, with increasing business interactions, the Thai–Belgium Business Association was founded in September 1990. It operated until 1992, when at the first Annual General Meeting in January 1993, the organization was officially established as the Belgian?Luxembourg/Thai Chamber of Commerce (BeLuThai). Today, it is a small but very dynamic chamber with around 100 corporate and individual members, focused on promoting economic engagement between Belgium/Luxembourg and Thailand.
